A PC Geek – Your IT Services Hero

There is no need to fear … A PC Geek is here!

That’s the motto of David Lay and A PC Geek – Your IT services hero!

A PC Geek Headshot

Founded in 2001, A PC Geek has become a respected and trusted name in the technology industry. From it’s humble beginnings, David has sought to provide the SMB (Small/Medium Businesses) and residential markets with the same level of technical support generally reserved for the Fortune 500 companies.

“The Fortune 500 companies have their own in-house technology support groups. They can afford to hire folks whose sole function is to manage and maintain the companies technology resources. That’s something the SMB and residential folks can’t do.”, says David. “Does that make them any less critical? Not at all. If-fact, to the hackers and cyber-criminals, the SMB and residential users are what is called, ‘low hanging fruit.’ They don’t have the financial resources to install and maintain critical infrastructure resulting in frequent issues. As an example, on January 25th, a new malware (malicious software) was detected named ‘Sandworm SwiftSlicer’ that when launched will delete critical windows files and render the computer useless. The SMB and residential markets are increasingly susceptible to malware on their networks.”

One of the key differentiators of A PC Geek is the company’s focus on providing personalized service. Rather than simply fixing a problem and moving on, the technicians at A PC Geek work closely with each customer to understand their unique needs and tailor their services accordingly. This approach helps ensure that each customer is completely satisfied with the work that is done, and that their technology is optimized to meet their specific requirements.

Over the years, A PC Geek has increased their portfolio of services from simple computer repair and upgrades to include:

  • Website design and hosting
  • VoIP (Voice over IP phone)
  • Cloud Computing
  • Cyber Security
