In2005, after working in Nashville for 19 years, Brad and his wife Rashelle relocated back to Texas, bought a building on Main Street, and turned it into a professional recording studio in 2008, working with artists from all over the country.

Initially, Brad began his professional music career in 1987 as a hired guitar gun for country and rock artists worldwide. He became a Grammy record performer, held staff songwriter positions, and was a sought-after audio engineer. Brad received BA in audio production at Berklee and a masters in English at A&M Commerce.

Given the nickname “The Shredder,” Guitar World magazine touts Brad as one of the greatest Texas guitarists of all time. Brad created his “double-down up” method, and it’s no wonder your eyes open wide when you see him play his guitar at the speed of light.

Brick Row Music store opened Oct of 2020. Brad hired the music talents of Joel Weaver to manage studio “C” and operate the music store. Weaver has over 30 years of professional touring, songwriting, and recording experience. Joel is also in charge of music lessons and organizing impromptu sidewalk jam sessions and mini concerts downtown. Keep a look out for upcoming events.

Brad Davis Recording Studio joined the Chamber in April 2013.
